We are seeking a high-energy Sales Director – Africa (West) to spearhead our sales and growth strategy across West Africa. This role is focused on building strong banking and regulator relationships, driving new business, and positioning Clari5 as the trusted partner for enterprise fraud management and compliance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and end-to-end enterprise sales cycles across West Africa
- Build and strengthen C-level and decision-maker relationships with banks, regulators, and fintechs
- Consistently achieve and surpass revenue goals for the region
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, delivery, marketing) to craft winning solutions
- Represent Clari5 at industry forums, client events, and key regional engagements
- Expand market presence by building and managing partnerships with system integrators, consulting firms, and channel partners
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in banking technology / fintech
- Proven track record in selling financial crime, fraud, AML, and compliance solutions
- Strong product and pre-sales background in fraud risk / AML compliance is mandatory
- Solid understanding of the West African banking landscape and regulatory environment
- Established network within banks, fintechs, and regulators across West Africa
- Strong leadership, consultative selling, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-growing market with entrepreneurial drive
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred
