Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with significant clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, and acting as the key interface between the customer and internal teams. The role involves both developing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure loyalty and prevent defection to competitors.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Ensure correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
- Serve as the communication link between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve issues and complaints to maintain client trust
- Generate new sales and business opportunities
- Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts
Additional Clari5-Specific Duties
- Create revenue strategies, account plans, and business processes for dedicated account management
- Work closely with partners/clients to deliver on revenue targets
- Advise and influence customers using consultative selling techniques and relevant campaigns
- Execute high-quality discussions with customer IT business leaders to influence strategy
- Continuously develop accounts for repeat business and proactively seek new opportunities
- Map key players and determine/document sales strategies for new initiatives
- Develop understanding of political relationships and their impact on buying behavior
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a key account manager or in business development, preferably in IT, banking, or BFSI sector
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence customer decisions and develop ROI frameworks
- Leadership skills for motivating teams
Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- MBA or equivalent is an advantage
- Candidate should have overall experience of (7-15yrs) yrs of experience. And preferably into Account Management or have worked in clients facing roles for at-least 5yrs.
